I’m really glad to be part of the team at Lumen Wellness & Counseling. We strive to offer a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where people can show up just as they are and feel supported.
I’m a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Hospitality from Missouri State University and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Missouri Baptist University. My background in hospitality strongly influences my approach to counseling — I value warmth, presence, and creating a relationship where individuals feel comfortable and cared for.
As a counselor, my goal is to provide a space where you feel accepted, heard, and supported. I especially enjoy working with clients who are feeling overwhelmed, depressed, anxious, or grieving — whether those emotions come from loss, trauma, life transitions, parenting challenges, relationship concerns, family dynamics, or the everyday stress of adulting. Together, we can explore insight, perspective, and what matters most to you, while working toward a more purposeful, values-aligned life.
